As I was soaking in God’s presence the other day, I heard the words, “Son of man, what do you see?” Usually when God says this in scripture, it is an invitation to look at something in the natural to reveal the message He wants to convey. The Lord then directed me to the war in Israel.
Watchers of Israel and the conflict going on there must know that this is a battle from a much higher realm. It is a war on many fronts that has been relentless. Most recently, the whole issue around who controls the Philadelphi corridor which runs parallel to the border with Egypt has been a point of contention in the negotiations for an end to the war. Why did Egypt and most nations resist so strongly having the IDF enter and control that area? The answer is supply. It was discovered that there were at least 70 tunnels crossing from Gaza into Egypt that obviously were the source of supplying arms, war materials and money into Gaza. On a spiritual level, the war has been over supply. Many prophets have been declaring that there is coming a great transference of wealth from the wicked to the righteous. (Proverbs 13:22) I have always known that Israel is the foremost prophetic nation in the world and whatever happens there speaks to what is happening in the spirit realm. So what is happening?
What is this contention over the Philadelphi corridor saying?
- The enemy is working to control the supply corridors
- He is holding hostages
- He is influencing the minds of those who are at war to give up
- He is not interested in the people he controls except for his own purposes
- The supply routes have been hidden
- The enemy knows that when his supply routes are closed, he has lost
- He is greatly weakened and the only weapons he has left is to make people believe a lie
- In the political realm, who is on your side is not clear
As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual. The war over supply has never been greater. The enemy knows that Kingdom wealth is linked with the great harvest that is on the horizon. The war over finances has never been greater or victory more vital.
Many have been prophesying Haggai 2 related to the shaking that is happening all over the world, both in the church and in the nations. The Lord is indeed shaking everything that can be shaken, but look what it is associated with.
This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come and I will fill this house with glory, say the Lord Almighty. The silver is mine and the gold is mine’ says the Lord Almighty. The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house says the Lord Almighty. And in this place I will grant peace. Haggai 2: 6-9
The outpouring is associated with supply! That is why the battle rages and that is why the temptation to give up on promises the Lord has given you is so high. The enemy knows that once his supply lines are transferred to the realm of the righteous, he has lost. So how do we war? We war with the word of God! There is no other truth higher than the word of God. Declare the promise of Haggai over your life and your nation.
One of the most incredible stories of supply was the provision of manna in the wilderness in Exodus 16. As the people grumbled to Moses regarding their lack of food in the wilderness, Moses declared “In the morning you will see the glory of the Lord” and manna appeared and continued to appear for 40 years! The glory was linked with supply!
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Kingdom riches are required for Kingdom projects. We will reap if we faint not.
