Baal site in Israel in danger of collapse
Whenever there is an event that takes the world by surprise, we are compelled to pay attention. Last week, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, was eliminated by Israel along with several other leaders meeting in an underground bunker in Beirut. Several were calling it “taking out the head of the snake”. A significant picture we saw in the rubble was his broken signet ring, which symbolized his authority. With this and many other victories as they seek to dismantle the power of Hezbollah to attack Israeli towns in the north, Israel now is determined to drive back enemy forces to beyond the Litani River in Lebanon. This river winds across the southern portion of Lebanon parallel to Israel’s border before moving northeastward to its source at a place called Baalbek.
What does this mean since Israel always speaks prophetically? In ancient times, the Litani river was named after a seven headed sea serpent because it winds and coils like a serpent through a large valley in Lebanon. Its source is a place in ancient history known as Baal Gad or the God of Fortune. This was the most northeastern city that Joshua took in his northern campaign.
In Jonathan Cahn’s latest book, “The Dragon’s Prophecy” he talks about a seven headed creature coming to take out Israel and God’s people.
And another sign appeared in heaven: behold a great fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. Revelation 12:3
He goes on to say that ‘the Greek indicates a serpent-like being, as in a large constricting or venomous snake.’
So what does this current war imply? For now, I believe it continues to be a tremendous war over supply. With every victory, Israel is weakening the power over the serpent who is constricting the wealth belonging to the righteous.
Last week also Chuck Pierce came out with a word for Israel called “Strike the ground”. This was in reference to a story in 2 Kings 3:18,19 where Elisha prophesied over King Jehoash of Israel.
Then he said, take the arrows and the king took them. Elisha told him, “Strike the ground”. He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said “You should have struck the ground five or six times, then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times.
The word to Israel, and to us all is to continue to strike the ground until victory is achieved.
Israel continues the war over supply by striking Syria and Yemen, the pathway for supply of weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon from Iran. Aram was a place in Syria.
Several years ago, we hosted a prophetic journey in Israel called the Elisha School of the Prophets. I had invited Rosetta Florence, a demonstrative prophet to lead this company of 14 people as I took them around Elisha land in Israel. In her luggage, Rosetta brought 14 arrows for each of us to prophetically strike the ground wherever we went. The most significant place that we went with these was Mount Bental which is situated high over the border of Syria where you can see clearly into that nation. Israel has several bunkers there that were then mostly for tourists to go and see. But as we struck the ground there, it spoke of a time to come when Israel would need to continue to strike against its enemies until they were totally defeated.
We decree that the time for the enemy’s hold on supply for the righteous is over! It is time to take the land and see giant after giant fall at our command. The enemy is reeling right now. The purposes of God lay before us. Last Friday night at our worship watch, I saw the Archangel Michael standing with his arms folded across his chest in determination, with one foot on the eastern border of Israel and the other on the western coast. We proclaim victory for the people of God! It is not the time to shrink back but to advance.
